Waqf document for the management and restoration of Galolhu Hadheebee Kamanaa Miskiyy. It states in an earlier document (1504) that the management of the mosque was entrusted to members of a clan, but Hadhi (or Han’dhi), the son of Lhaimagu Ranbandeyri Kalo, and his wife, Hadhi Aisaa Kanbuloa were suffering from old age and so the mosque was not maintained. The document was prepared in 1760 when al-Mukarram Muḥammad Imād al-Dīn Iskandar was kidnapped by the Malabaris and his daughter Kanbaa Aimina Ranikileyfaanu was temporarily on the throne. Sultan al-Ghāzī Hassan Izz al-Din aimed to clarify the difference between the land endowed to the mosque and that of the family of custodians (Thauliyyaaverikamuge Naazirunnge). The family was summoned to court by the Sultan for questioning and it was determined that the lands endowed to the mosque were: the land on which the mosque was built, the parcel leased on Galolhu Maizaandhoshu; the parcel leased on the road east of the mosque; the parce leased on the east corner of Henvyru Boduveyo; two parcels on the left side of Maafannu Andhiriandhiri Magu (Road), a parcel on Machanngoalhi Dhannbufalu and Maizaandhoshuge, the land of Miladhunmaddulu Shaviyani Maaun’guudhuu; 248 Bama of Thundi in Noonu Vavathi and Maalhosmadulu Raa Hulhudhuhfaaru; the parcel of land on Thukan’baafaanu Rukuthere; Methoshali on Kaafu Kaashidhoo; the rasge lease land on Felidhiatholhu Vaavu Anbara, Bodufushi and Meemu Mulaku; the bodu and medhu parcels on Kolhumadulu Fenmeerufushi, Kolhumadulu Kalhudheyfushi and Kandoodhoo; the parcel leased on Veymanddoo. It is clarified that the document was written in accordance with the orders of the Sultan and verified with the seal of the Radhunn. In 1921 the authorities (Bandaarainn) decided to restore the mosque and take contol of five parcels of land from the aforementioned list: Hulhudhufaaru Thundi, Anbaraa, Bodufushi, Fenmeerufushi and Kalhudheyfushi. The remaining land was given to the mosque, while the custodians of this mosque (who were also responsible for Hukuru Miskiyy) were given entitlements.
