Fragment of a waqf document written at the request of the custodians of the (Laamu) Fonadhoo Miskiiy to renew the old document as it was suffering wear and tear due to age. The previous document was written on December 1632 (estimated to be during the time) Sultan ‘Imād al-Dīn for the son of Fonashoo Mūsā Meynaakaloge, Ḥusaynkalo and his wife - the granddaughter of the island’s Dhonkatheebu. It endows the land on which the mosque is built on, itss graves, all coconut palms that belong to them on (Laamu) Fonadhoo and Gaadhoo, as well as other resources.
