Vietnam opportunities

The Maritime Asia Heritage Survey (MAHS) works to locate and digitally document critically endangered heritage sites, structures, objects, and manuscripts across four countries in Maritime Southern Asia: Indonesia, the Maldives, Thailand, and Vietnam. In Vietnam, the MAHS works in partnership with the University of Danang and Center for Building Up Sustainability (BUS) to conduct fieldwork at selected sites. Our new full-time Field Survey Team in Vietnam will employ a combination of cutting-edge technologies and traditional survey methodologies to produce records for an open-access on-line database of the diverse and distinctive cultures and histories of the region – and to securely archive that information for future generations.
