HAF-VSF-2 | Bodu Faaru, coral stone and lime mortar wall

Coral stones were brought from Kelaa Island to build these large walls, using lime mortar made by drilling a hole in the limestone bedrock and burning it. Palm leaves were used when mixing the mortar. A total of seven walls, each about three meters long, were built on the islands. In addition, pillars about a meter in diameter were placed at each end of the wall.
