HAF-DID-1 | Dhidhdhoo Idu Miskiyy complex

Although the exact date of this mosque’s construction is not known, it is believed to have been built by Dhidhdhoo Kuda Maalimee Hussain during the 14th century. The entire mosque was built of coral rubble and lime mortar. The approximate date of the current mosque building can be determined from the inscription of 1359H (1940) above the door frame of the entrance. Restoration work has been carried out here by both local and national charities. There were previously three wells on the premises of this mosque compound, but one of the wells (south) has been covered over with soil.
