MAHS Indonesia Field Team Member
Sari Novita is a Data Management Assistant for the MAHS Indonesia Field Survey Team. She completed her undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Syiah Kuala University (Banda Aceh) in 2013. Previous to that, she was involved in Aftermath of Aid and Aceh Geohazard research at the International Center for Aceh and Indian Ocean Studies (ICAIOS) in collaboration with Earth observatory of Singapore (EOS). Currently, she is completing her master’s degree at Magister of Disaster Science, Syiah Kuala University. She is a data analyst and is also active in conducting research related to disasters, especially in disaster mitigation and local knowledge for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). She was a member of HIBEUNA (Disaster Science Student Association), and was also active in a collaborative project between HIBUENA and JISI (Japan Indonesia Student Interaction) in disaster preparedness school activities.
