This collection comprises the Aceh Vernadoc drawings, presenting a detailed and systematic documentation of vernacular architecture in the region. Created using the Vernacular Documentation (Vernadoc) methodology, the drawings highlight hand-drawn precision, cultural sensitivity, and architectural authenticity. The collection features measured drawings of traditional Acehnese houses and historic Chinese shop-houses, capturing distinctive architectural elements such as raised timber structures, intricate wood carvings, steeply pitched roofs, and traditional joinery techniques unique to Aceh.
