The Indonesian National Registry of Cultural Heritage (Registrasi Nasional Cagar Budaya Indonesia) is maintained by the Directorate General of Culture under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Commonly referred to as ’RegNas’, it presents the official listing of registered cultural heritage sites across the country, formalized through a multi-tiered process of verification.

Working in collaboration with the Directorate General of Culture, the Maritime Asia Heritage Survey has helped to clean the dataset, standardize record formats, and translate the contents into English for integration into the MAHS online archive. RegNas records are also cross-linked to new documentation of relevant sites by the MAHS Indonesia Field Team.)
