MAHS Maldives Field Team Member
Cut Puan Tiszani Pasha is Architect for the MAHS Maldives Field Survey Team. She graduated from Universitas Syiah Kuala with a thesis on Adaptive Reuse of Old Houses as Coffee Shops: Environmental and Spatial Aspects arguing for sustainable, ‘bottom-up’ preservation of historical structures in Indonesia. She began her field research career in 2021 as Field Researcher in ANGIN’s Preliminary Research, funded by the Netherlands research board (KNAW), in cooperation with interdisciplinary researchers from Radboud University of Nijmegen, the University of Syiah Kuala, State Islamic University of Ar-Raniry, and the International Centre for Aceh and Indian Ocean Studies (ICAIOS). Prior to joining the MAHS, she was an architectural designer for an architectural firm in Aceh.
