HAF-TKD-3 | Coral stone wall

This wall was built during the presidency of Mohamed Amin Didi (January-August 1953) as a symbolic project to promote the development of the island. The entire population of the island (about 90 people) participated in the construction. They were divided into three groups, each of which built an equal length. Today, only part of the wall remains. The rest of the wall has been demolished or has become incorporated into peoples’ private property.
