The National Museum of the Maldives in Male’ (MAHS-MDV-COL-001) holds a unique collection of historical artifacts from across the atolls of that Indian Ocean island nation.

Database Records

The MAHS has digitally documented objects in the Museum’s collections spanning centuries of the history of the islands. Their holdings also include a number of rare copper plate inscriptions and manuscripts.
